JAMES M. BRANTLEY
ZEBULON - James Mack Brantley, 46, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006 at the home of his parents after months of declining health. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Nov. 27, at Zebulon Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jack Glasgow Jr. officiating. Burial followed in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.

He was born in Wilson County to Jerry Mack Brantley and Hilda Massey Brantley. He retired from Mackay Communications where he was maintenance supervisor, security and safety director. He and his wife also owned J. B.’s Repair Service for many years.

Surviving: his wife, Lisa Garris Brantley; daughters, Alana B. Liles (Steven) of Zebulon, Jenna Blair Brantley of Zebulon; parents, Hilda Massey Brantley and Jerry Mack “Short” Brantley; sisters, Brenda B. Creech (Gary) of Zebulon and Mary Ann Brantley of Wendell; three nieces and one nephew.

Flowers accepted or contributions may be sent to the College Fund for Jenna Blair Brantley, c/o Four Oaks Bank and Trust, 130 N. Arendell Avenue, Zebulon, NC 27597.
