DEBRA “DEBI” B. O’CONNOR
WAKE FOREST - Debra “Debi” Baysdon O’Connor, 54, of Wake Forest passed away on Saturday March 17, 2012 at Wake Medical Center after a sudden cardiac arrest.

 Debi was born in St. Pauls, North Carolina and attended high school there. She also attended Wake Technical College and graduated from Troutmans College.  She worked as a cosmetologist until retiring.  Prior to becoming a cosmetologist she worked as the Quality Control Inspector for various sheet metal fabrication shops. She also served in the United States Army.

Debi is survived by her daughter, Dolly White and husband, Sam White of Louisburg; her son, Michael Austin and wife, Tina Curry Austin of Wake Forest; her grandchildren, Kevin Markham and spouse, Kristin Markham of Knightdale, Nicole Pearce of Louisburg, Shanon Austin of Wake Forest, and Callie White of Louisburg; her great-granddaughter, Olivia Markham of Knightdale; mother, Katherine Baysdon, and brother, Robert Baysdon of Lumberton; and longtime companion, Albert Dudley of Wake Forest.

A memorial service honoring Debi’s life will be held on Sunday March 25, at 2 p.m. at Cremation Society of the Carolinas, 2205 East Millbrook Road, Raleigh. All friends and family are welcome to attend.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Carola Gibbs for her compassion and support during this time.
