March 11, 1975 – April 6, 2012
LOUISBURG – Matthew “Matt” Francis Elliott, 37, of Louisburg, died Friday afternoon.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Matt is survived by his son, Tyler Elliott of Youngsville; fiancé, Amy Melton of Louisburg; stepfather, Jimmy Darcangelo of Beaver Dam, NY; mother, Anita Lynne Ferri of Watkins Glen, NY; father, Francis E. Elliott of Montour Falls, NY; brother, Chris Elliott of Louisburg; sisters, Karie Jo Elliott of Watkins Glen, NY; Molly Lynn Elliott of Montour Falls, NY; Malori Elliott of Odessa, NY; Ivy McCarthy; Hannah McCarthy; Noel McCarthy and Taylor McCarthy, all of Watkins Glen, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Franklin County S.P.C.A., 105 Mill Creek Drive, Youngsville, NC 27596.
