DIANE PENDLETON MARKS
FRANKLINTON - Diane Pendleton Marks, 57, of Franklinton, died Thursday morning, April 12, 2012 at WakeMed Raleigh.

A celebration of her life will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the home of Anne and Dennis Bryant, 242 Sollie Ayscue Road, Henderson, NC.

A native of Vance County, Diane was born August 20, 1954, the daughter of the late Esther Wood Pendleton and Numa Pendleton, Jr. She was a paramedic with the Franklin County EMS and a volunteer with the Franklinton Rescue Squad. Diane enjoyed fishing and camping but especially cooking for her family and friends.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Katherine Lamell and her partner, Wayne Daniels of Franklinton; son, Stephen Marks and his wife, Darlene of Riverview, FL; sister, Anne Bryant and her husband, Dennis of Louisburg; brother, Glenn Pendleton and his wife, Reba of Knightdale; and nine grandchildren.
