PHYLLIS F. PEARCE
FRANKLINTON - Phyllis Freeman Pearce, 70, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Dec. 11, in the Franklin Funeral Service chapel in Franklinton, with the Rev. T. J. Kollar officiating. Burial followed Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Howard Freeman and Mable Harris Freeman. Mrs. Pearce was a retired L.P.N., having worked for Dorothea Dix Hospital.

Mrs. Pearce was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Pearce Jr.

Surviving: sons, Gary Bray and Ricky Bray, both of Franklinton; stepdaughter, Agnes Pearce Whitley of High Point; a sister, Annette Freeman of Durham; and seven grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Franklin County S.P.C.A.
