HENRY A. JENKINS
ROLESVILLE - Henry Allen Jenkins, 62, died Sunday, July 15, 2012. A memorial celebrating his life will be held Saturday, July 21, beginning at 2:30 p.m. at North Haven Church, 6620 Six Forks Road, Raleigh.

He was born in Kinston to the late Allen Jackson Jenkins and Evelyn Jenkins. He was a member of North Haven Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church for more than 30 years, where he led Sunday school classes and was member of the choir.

He was retired chief electrical inspector from Wake County, where he served from 1980 to 2008.

Surviving: wife, Leann Jenkins of Rolesville; son, Brandon Jenkins (Jennifer) of Knightdale; stepdaughters, Misty D’Ottavio (Alfred) of Youngsville and Holly Mitchell (Brandon) of Zebulon; mother, Evelyn Jenkins of Kinston; sister, Jackie Jones (David); four grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Henry Jenkins Scholarship Fund, c/o NC Ellis Cannady Chapter, IAEI, P. O. Box 18727, Raleigh, NC 27619.
