LOUISE L. DRIVER (April 16, 1931 – Dec. 24, 2006)
LOUISBURG – Louise Lewis Driver, 75, of 507 Ford Circle, died Sunday morning.

Louise was a daughter of the late Stephen and Betty Shearin Lewis and was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Driver. She retired from Franklin Memorial Hospital as a nurse’s aide and then operated a daycare for children in her home for many years.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Louise is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Sheila J. Driver, Donnie and Sheila V. Driver, Phil and Donna A. Driver, Debra B. Poleo, all of Louisburg; grandchildren, Kaid Driver and wife Anita, Lindsay Driver, Kendall Driver, Whitney Driver, Stephen Driver, Loganne Driver; great-grandchild, Kaitlyn Driver.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Louisburg Lions Club, P.O. Box 554, Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family will receive friends 7 – 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg, and other times at the home.
