FRANCES S. HALL
FRANKLINTON—Frances Satterwhite Hall, 73, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wilbur Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Granville County and was the daughter of the late Willie and Minnie Satterwhite. She was the retired general manager and bookkeeper of Marshall Oil Company.

Surviving: husband, Robert E. “Bob” Hall; son, Johnny Pleasants (Robyn) of Pennsylvania; brothers, Stephen Henry Satterwhite (Ruth) and Julian Lee Satterwhite, all of Stem; stepson, Les A. Hall (Lorrie) of Pennsyvania; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Joseph; stepson, Robert E. Hall Jr.; stepdaughter, Betsy-Jane Pogorzelski; and her sister, June Stanley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, E. NC Chapter, 1305 Navaho Drive, Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27609.

Friends may visit with the family from 9:30-11 a.m. Wednesday at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
