HARRY E. TANT
LOUISBURG - Harry Edgar Tant, 70, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Jan. 2, at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton, with the Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating.

Born in Franklin County, he was the son of James Atlas Tant and Val Levi Bell Tant. He was a retired auto mechanic, having worked for Buck Wheat House service station in Franklinton for many years.

Surviving: his wife, Janice May Tant; sons, Harry Anthony Tant of Louisburg and James Lee Tant of Spring Hope; daughters, Darlene Wester, Mary Elizabeth Tant and Violet Roberson, all of Louisburg; a sister, Mary Ann Riggan of Kittrell; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Arrangements by Franklin Funeral Service and Cremation, Franklinton.
