MELBADEEN HOUSE
FRANKLINTON - Melbadeen House, 86, died Friday, Nov. 2, at her home in Franklinton. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason St., Franklinton, with the Rev. Joi Williams and the Rev. David Averette officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

A Franklin County native, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Thelma G. Fuller House. She was a member of Franklinton Baptist Church. She worked at Burlington Mills, Piggly Wiggly and retired from First Citizens Bank.

Surviving: daughter, Cheryl DeMent of Louisburg; sisters, Brenda Hedgepeth and Judy Gardner, both of Louisburg; one granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews,

She was predeceased by her husband, John Henry House; a grandson; five brothers and one sister.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
