HAROLD D. STRICKLAND
ZEBULON - Harold David Strickland, 75, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. today (Saturday, Nov. 17) at Rocky Cross Holiness Church, with visitation from 2 - 3 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Lee’s Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.

A native of Nash County, he was the son of the late Edwin and Effie Cone Strickland. He was retired from Southern Utilities in Charlotte.

Surviving: wife, Betty Hunt Strickland; children, Joy Craig (Kenneth) and Ann Strickland, both of Rocky Mount, Monica Lockert (John) of Middlesex, Trellace Gaines (Roy) of Raleigh, and Charla Allen (Mark) of Rocky Point; siblings, Curtis Strickland of Henderson, Jerry Strickland (Susie) of Holly Springs, Margaret Rose Strickland and Doris Coats (Murray), both of Zebulon; and two grandchildren.
