TRACEY JOVINO
July 21, 1971 – November 21, 2012
CLAYTON – Tracey Lynn Whitley Jovino, 41, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012. She was born in Wake County.  Tracey graduated from Barton College School of Nursing, BSN.  She was a cardiac nurse on 6A at WakeMed.  She was featured in the Celebrate Nursing, May 2011 issue as a Nurses Trusted To Care Nominee.  Tracey was a great mom and wife; her family was her life. She was the light of so many people’s lives and truly was a strong, kind and brilliant woman.  Tracey was a sister in Sigma Sigma Sigma.   She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Joseph Whiltey, maternal grandparents, M.T. and Donna Ray.

Funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 24, at Pilot Baptist Church.  Interment followed in the Ray Family Cemetery

She is survived by her best friend and husband of many years, Chris Jovino; her son, Jeffrey, both of the home; parents, David & Lynn Ray Whitley of Franklin County; sisters, Kelly W. Clark (Dean) of Zebulon, Sandy W. Taylor (Patrick) of Durham; paternal grandmother, Mattie Pearce Whiltey; nephews and nieces, Andrew, Emily, Ava, and Blake; father-in-law, Richard Jovino (Deborah); mother-in-law, Patricia Jovino.

Flowers welcomed or memorials may be made to the Jeffrey M. Jovino College Fund, account 61171326, care of any SECU.
