GLADYS S. TAYLOR
YOUNGSVILLE—Gladys Severt Taylor, 82, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at Franklin Regional Medical Center in Louisburg. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Jan. 11,  at Grandview Memorial Chapel with Elder James McNeill officiating. Burial followed in Cranberry Cemetery in Laurel Springs. 

She was born in Ashe County to the late Edd and Carrie Miller Severt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hardin Taylor; one daughter, Juanita Bell; one sister, Mary Wagoner.

Surviving: one sister, Margaret Jarvis of Ennice; brothers, Basil Severt (Ann) of Raleigh, Wayne Severt (Ruth) of N. Wilkesboro; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Grandview Memorial Funeral Home in Sparta is serving the Taylor family.
