LARRY S. “STEVE” DRIVER
SPRING HOPE - Larry Stephenson “Steve” Driver, 57, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Jan. 12) at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery. The Rev. Daniel Parker will officiate.

The family will receive friends 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, and other times at 621 Williams Road, Spring Hope.

Surviving: wife, Devon Walker Driver of the home; daughter, Joy Driver of Spring Hope; sons, Tyler Driver of Franklinton and Robbie Denton (Angie) of Rocky Mount; stepdaughter, Brittany Delbridge of Spring Hope; stepsons, Bradley Walker of Spring Hope and James Strickland of Red Oak; siblings, Roger Bernard Tant of Bailey, Denise Brantley (Phil) of Bailey, Gordon Driver (JoAnn) of Spring Hope, Lisa Whitley (Gary) of Middlesex; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Gordon and Pearl Bissette Driver; brother, Jasper Hubert Tant; and his paternal grandmother, Inza “Mue” Driver.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to Christian Fellowship Church, 7814 South NC 58, Elm City, NC 27822.
