BARBARA E. PEARCE
ZEBULON - Barbara Nell Fowler Pearce, 67, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013. Funeral service was Thursday, Jan. 10, at Union Chapel Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She was born in Johnston County and worked for 10 years with Champion and 25 years with Mortex until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Fowler.

Surviving: husband, Kenneth Newell Pearce; children, Kenn Pearce (Tina) of Wake Forest, Keith Pearce (Angie) of Middesex, Kimberly Creech (Michael) of Zebulon, and Kristie Lowery of Zebulon; mother, Mamie Carlyle Fowler of Pilot; siblings, Charles Fowler (Ruth) of Knightdale, Kenneth Fowler (Cathy) of Bunn Lake, and Balina Baines (Bobby) of Stanhope; and six grandchildren.

Flowers welcomed or memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
