LOUISBURG – Craig Wayne Sledge, 62, of Louisburg, died Saturday morning.
Craig was a son of the late John and Ina Pearce Sledge. He served in the Army as a Photographic Specialist.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Louisburg Moose Lodge. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
Craig is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Winnie Sledge; Andy and Kim Sledge, all of Louisburg; Larry and Sheila Sledge of Forest, VA; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Durham VA Medical Center, Attn: Voluntary Services Emergency Welfare, 508 Fulton St., Durham, NC 27705 or to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park, Suite 10, Raleigh, NC 27615.
