JAMES R. RAINES JR.
ZEBULON - James Radford “Jimmy” Raines Jr., 59, died suddenly Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Feb. 4, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service chapel, Knightdale. Entombment followed at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.

He was born in Johnston County to the late James R. Raines and Lucille Parrish Raines. He served his country in the U. S. Army and was owner of Raines & Son Electric Service, Inc.

Surviving: his wife, Janet Lee Raines; daughter, Wendy Raines of Boone; sons, James R. Raines III (Sammie) of Zebulon, Shane Canady of Roseboro; brother, George Richardson of Smithfield; and six grandchildren.
