BARBARA S. HINSON
ZEBULON - Barbara Sykes Hinson, 58, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. A homegoing service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 7) at St. Johns Missionary Church in Columbia, N.C.

She was born in Columbia, N. C. to the late Lonnie and Brittie Sykes. She spent most of her life residing in Lawrenceville, N.J., and relocated to Zebulon in 2000.

Surviving: husband, Houston R. Hinson; children, Alesha Daye and Houston Jerrard; sisters, Joyce Sykes Fitch, J. Darlene Sykes-Ross (Robert), and Linda Sykes of New Jersey; brothers, Lonnie R. Sykes (Ethel) of North Carolina, Eric Sykes (Michele) and D. Lorenza Sykes of New Jersey.
