DOUGLAS J. CREEKMORE
SPRING HOPE - Douglas J. Creekmore, 61, did Friday, Feb. 9, 2007 at his residence. A graveside service was conducted Monday, Feb. 12, at Oak Dale Cemetery, Spring Hope, with the Rev. Norris Cook officiating.

Mr. Creekmore was a retired fireman with Ferrells Fire Department.

Surviving: his wife, Cora Ann Pendergrass Creekmore of the home; a son, Douglas Jerome Creekmore of Zebulon; stepdaughter, Shirley Ann Blackley of Spring Hope; stepsons, Robert Wayne Ayscue of Louisburg, Roger Lee Ayscue of Centerville, David Ayscue and Tommy Wayne Ayscue, both of Castalia; sisters, Willamene Womble of Raleigh, Joseph “Jo” Edwards of Rocky Cross, Jean Marshall of Fayetteville; and three grandchildren.

Arrangements by Spring Hope Funeral Home, Spring Hope.
