THOMAS A. LYNN
GAFFNEY, SC - Thomas Allen Lynn, 58, died Monday, March 12, 2007 while in Ann Arbor, Mich. Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 16, at Blakely Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joel Sellers officiating. Interment was at Frederick Memorial Gardens.

Born in Raleigh, he was the husband of Helen Vas Lynn and son of the late Richard Lynn and Florence Mitchell. He was formerly the Cherokee County administrator, and a former city administrator in Mauldin, S. C., and Tifton, Ga.

Surviving: in addition to his wife: a son, James (Takako) Lynn of Raleigh; stepson, Robert (Kristina) Perry of Johnson City, Tenn.; daughters, Dominique Lynn of the home, Stacy Jordan of Jacksonville, and Melissa Dameron of Louisburg; brothers, Joe Allen, Ricky Furby, and Perry Mitchell, all of Raleigh; sisters, June Bruusema, Margaret Spencer, and Barbara Welch, all of Raleigh, and Mary Diaz of Charlotte; and nine grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Peachtree Centre, 1434 N. Limestone St., Gaffney, SC 29340.
