DURHAM - Marcus Warren Holsclaw Jr., 50, of Durham died Thursday, April 20, 2006 at his home after a long illness. Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 26) at the Holsclaw family cemetery on Ballard Pruitt Road in Franklinton. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Franklin Funeral Service and Cremation, Franklinton.
Born in Durham County, he was the son of Marcus Warren Holsclaw Sr. He retired from Hi Tec Fabrication as a computer programmer.
Surviving: his partner for 20 years, Wanda Goodwin of Durham; sons, Marcus Anthony Holsclaw of Greenville, S.C., Jason Michael Holsclaw of Youngsville, and James Warren Holsclaw of Durham; a sister, Lisa Holsclaw of Durham; and eight grandchildren.
