RUTH W. HAYES
FRANKLINTON - Ruth Wall Hayes, 78, died Saturday, April 7, 2007 at her residence. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, April 10, at Union View Baptist Church, with the Rev. T. J. Kollar and the Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating. Burial followed in the Pope’s Chapel Christian Church cemetery in Franklinton.

Born in Wake Forest, she was the daughter of Jesse J. Wall and Margaret Beddingfield Wall. Mrs. Hayes was the widow of Captain Raymond Hayes.

Surviving: daughters, Jennie Ruth Hayes of Franklinton and Angela H. Russell of Raleigh; a son, David Raymond Hayes of Franklinton; sisters, Edith Tabby Ross, Janice Phelps and Frances Wyvette Hayes, all of Franklinton; a brother, Ray Wall of Wake Forest; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Flowers accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Tender Loving care Hospice in Louisburg.

Arrangements by Franklin Funeral Service and Cremation, Franklinton.
