THEODORE V. CASSIDY
DURHAM - Theodore Vincent Cassidy (Major USMC - Ret.), 71, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1400 South Alston St., Durham. Friends will be received in the church from 1-2 p.m. Saturday.

He was born in Red Bank, N.J. Mr. Cassidy served in the US Marines for 21 years. He retired from the Department of Revenue.

Surviving: his children, Dawn Helen Justice of Youngsville, Sean Michael Cassidy of Wake Forest, Jennifer Lynn Egan of Durham; sister, Helene Gran of Durham; brother, Thomas J. Cassidy of Tallahassee, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Cassidy’s memory to the Building Fund of Holy Cross Church.
