NASHVILLE - Funeral services for Rosa Alston Foster, 66, who died Friday, April 27, 2007, were conducted Monday, April 30, at Bunn Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wayne Hines officiating. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Patricia Foster of Spring Hope, Mary Mitchell and Rosa Mae Foster, both of Nashville, Linda Arrington, Loretta Bass and Sharon Arrington, all of Rocky Mount, and Linda Faye Foster of Florham, N. J.; sons, Cleveland Rudolph Foster Jr., Randolph Arrington Jr., Tony Douglas Arrington and Fred Donnell Arrington, all of Rocky Mount, and Vinson Foster of Newport News, Va.; sisters, Dossie Richardson of Nashville, Delois Drewery of Capital Heights, Md., and Brenda Cox of Rocky Mount; brothers, Eddie Alston of Louisburg and James Alston of Nashville; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
