Coleman Harrison Lancaster
RALEIGH: Coleman Harrison Lancaster, 74, passed away on Thursday, May 24th at Rex Hospital. Born on July 24, 1932 in Covington, KY, he was the son of the late George Graham Lancaster and Virginia Dudley Coleman.

Mr. Lancaster served honorably during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He was a Salesman within the building material industry, working with Moore’s Building Supplies and Carolina Builders. He enjoyed woodworking, Gospel music and Civil War re-enactments, and was a member of the 1st North Carolina Cavalry.

He is survived by his wife: Ruth Champion Lancaster; by his sons: C. Harrison Lancaster, Jr., O.D. and his wife Dawn of Youngsville, and Robert C. Lancaster and wife Debra of Smithfield; his grandchildren: Corey, Rachel and Stuart Lancaster and Christiana, C. Harrison III and Jackson Lancaster; his siblings: G. Graham Lancaster, Jr. and his wife Amy of Doylesville, PA and Virginia Cary McDonald of West End, NC; and by other family and friends.

Graveside funeral rites will be held on Saturday, May 26th, at 11 AM at Raleigh Memorial Park.
