LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Christene “Tene” Thomas, 74, who died Sunday, June 10, 2007, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 13) at Perry’s Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Randolph Alston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: husband, Reese Thomas; daughters, Carolyn Thomas of Norlina, Denise Morgan of Nashville, Phyllis Thomas, Ceatrice Solomon and Paula Thomas, all of Louisburg; sons, Robert Thomas of Nashville, Reese Thomas Jr. of East Orange, N. J., and Michael Thomas of Louisburg; sisters, Fannie Alston of Baltimore, Md., Rebecca Taylor of Raleigh, Ruby Williams of Warrenton, Jollie Lane of Durham, Bertha Williams of Newark, N. J., Roxie Ramos of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Hermenia Williams of Norlina; brothers, Junious Williams of Appomattox, Va., Johnnie Williams of Raleigh, James Williams of Louisburg, Bennie Williams of New York, N.Y., and David Williams of Littleton; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
