MARTHA JEAN BASS
LOUISBURG - Martha Jean Bass, 70, died Saturday, June 23, 2007 at her home. Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 25, in the chapel of Lancaster Funerals and Cremations, with the Rev. Tom Eldridge officiating. Burial followed in Spring Hope Memorial Gardens.

She was a nurse at Franklin Regional Medical Center and the Senior Citizens Center until her retirement.

Surviving: sons, Charles B. Bass Jr. (Donna) of Louisburg, John David Bass of Summerville, S.C., Randy H. Bass of Louisburg; sisters, Doris Collins (Patrick), Sara Bell Clayton, Jewell Long, all of Summerville, S.C., Eugenia “Jennie” Varner of Columbia, S.C.; brothers, Joseph Marian “Sonny” Cone (Florence), Murray Cone (Bertie) Allan Cone (Frances), Paul Edwin Cone (Pat), all of Summerville, S.C.; and three grandchildren.
