TABITHA D. CARPENTER
YOUNGSVILLE - Tabitha Dawn Carpenter, 19, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007 in Virginia from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 29) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the Wake Forest Cemetery.

She was born in Wake County, daughter of Cynthia Donna Schoenbrod Carpenter and Roy Gene Carpenter. She was a 2006 graduate of Wake Forest-Rolesville High School. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sam and Ronnie Mae Carpenter.

Surviving: parents, Roy “BooBoo” and Cindy Carpenter of Youngsville; sister, Kristy Marie Carpenter of Garysburg; brothers, Michael Scott Carpenter (Kelly) of Wake Forest, Brian Matthew Carpenter of Youngsville, and Roy Gene “Junior” Carpenter Jr. of Youngsville; grandmother, Linda Lee Smith of Castle Hayne; a number of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, School of Medicine CB# 7295 UNC at Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, NC 27599-7295.

Tabitha was a very loved individual. She was one of my best friends and I love her with all of my heart. Things will never be the same without her. She finally got the wings she deserves. I Love You Tabitha!
