BERRY PARKER
FRANKLINTON - Berry Parker, 50, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Sept. 6, at Union AME Zion Church, Wilton, with the Rev. Michael Hamlin, officiating. Interment followed in the Parker family cemetery, Wilton.

He was born in Granville County and attended Granville County Schools. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jasmine Parker.

Surviving: four daughters, Jaquala Parker of Butner, LaBerry Barnois (Nick) of Durham, Dominique Parker of Pittsboro, and Tiffany Parker of Durham; one son, Xavier Berry Parker of Durham; his mother and father, Gertrude Parker of Wilton and Willie Kearney (Ruby) of Franklinton; sisters, Eva Parker of Durham and Karen Pierce and Donna Cleggett, both of Winston-Salem; brothers, Dennis Parker of Wake Forest and Donovan Tharrington of Raleigh; and three grandsons.
