WAKE FOREST - Richard Lee Hathaway, 62, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Oct. 18, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest, with the Rev. Aaron Leonard officiating.

He was born in Edgecombe County, son of the late Mavis Hathaway and Richard Lee Hathaway Sr.

Surviving: his wife, Lynn Harrell Hathaway; children, Jimmy Hathaway (Diane), Chris Hathaway (Sheila) of Wake Forest, Brad Hathaway (Melissa) of Youngsville; one brother; three sisters; and five grandchildren.
