ZEBULON - Janice Miriam Hocutt, 80, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Dec. 22) at Corinth Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of Eunice S. and Iva Bynum Hocutt. She served in the U.S. Army for 12 years and for 22 years at the U.S. Post Office until her retirement in 1985.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Neva Mozelle H. Crowley.
Surviving: sisters, Lillian Edna H. Beaham (Frank) of Raleigh, Anna Hocutt White (Reggie) of Zebulon, and Faye Hocutt Ruth of Wilson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
