FREDERICK “TA” J. HENKEL
WAKE FOREST - Frederick Joseph Henkel, 64, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007 at Rex Hospital. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Dec. 21, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest.

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of the late Mary Alice Phoel Henkel and Grover Henkel. He was retired from International Paper Company.

Surviving: daughter, Dawn Kimball (Al) of Pennsylvania; sons, Fred Henkel (Myra “Max”) of Raleigh, and Steven Henkel (Patty) of Youngsville; brother, Dr. Gregory Henkel; sister, Carol Henkel, both of New York; and nine grandchildren.
