ELMOS M. “BUD” EATON SR.
FRANKLINTON - Funeral services for Elmos M. “Bud” Eaton Sr., 84, who died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at Old Liberty Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charles Murrill Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Mildred K. Eaton of the home; daughters, Doris Alston and Mildred Dunston, both of Youngsville, Katie Waller of Oxford, Peggy Merritt of Douglasville, Ga., Barbara Scott of Franklinton, Paula Johnson of Wake Forest, and Lisa Garris of Raleigh; sons, Elmos M. Eaton Jr., Jerry D. Eaton, Ronald M. Eaton and Michael A. Eaton, all of Franklinton; sister, Elsie E. Stewart of Hampton, Va.; brothers, Jimmy Eaton of Wake Forest, arkiel Eaton of Hampton, Va. and Bobby Eaton of Buffalo, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today (Saturday, Feb. 23) at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
