MARY L. LAWRENCE
FRANKLINTON - Mary Lane Lawrence, 64, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at her home. Celebration services were conducted Saturday, May 27, at Hawkins Chapel Baptist Church, Franklinton, with the Rev. Walter S. Taylor and the Rev. Earl Brewer officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

She was born in Granville County, daughter of the late Willie Lee and Freelor Lawrence. Her sisters, Vernell Lawrence Moore and Ruby Lawrence, and a brother, Kermit Lawrence, preceded her in death.

Surviving: one son, Antonio Lawrence (Cynthia) of Wake Forest; sisters, Fannie Fields of Baltimore, Md., and Alice Lawrence of the home; brothers, John Lawrence of Baltimore, Md., William Lawrence (Ola), and Fred Lawrence (Betty), all of Franklinton.
