COMMIE B. WILKES
FRANKLINTON - Commie B. Wilkes, 51, died Thursday morning, June 1, 2006 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 3, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest, with Pastor Rick Finley officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton.

Mrs. Wilkes was born in Franklin County, the daughter of Kathleen “Kaye” Perry King and James “Jack” King. She was employed as an assembler at Arkles.

Surviving: her daughter, Kandi Wilson (Brandon); parents, Kaye and Jack King, all of Franklinton; sisters, Betty King of Youngsville and Jackie Piper of Zebulon; and three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Commie Wilkes Memorial Fund, 2058 Suitt Store Rd., Franklinton, NC 27525.
