WAKE FOREST - Donnie Wilson Wheeler, 65, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Duke Health Raleigh Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. today (Saturday, April 12) at Flat Rock Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gary McNair officiating. Entombment will follow in the church cemetery.

He was born in Franklin County, the son of Mozelle Wiggins Wheeler and the late Roy Riddic Wheeler. He was retired from the State of North Carolina as an auditor after 31 years of service.

Surviving: his wife, Janice Clark Wheeler; daughters, Theresa Shearon (John), Angela Beebe (Vinnie), and April Hamilton, all of Wake Forest; mother, Mozelle Wiggins Wheeler of Louisburg; sisters, Sandra Wheeler Bailey of Raleigh and Vickie Wheeler of Riverside, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.

Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Mary’s St., 4th Floor, Raleigh, NC 27605.
