ELIZABETH BULLOCK JONES (October 18, 1934 – April 13, 2008)
BLACK CREEK - Elizabeth Bullock Jones, 73, of Black Creek died Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. Steve Strickland will officiate.

Mrs. Jones is survived by three daughters, Janice Driver and husband Charlie of Lucama, Joyce Strother and husband Bob of Louisburg, and Dorothy Kuenn and husband Dwayne of Lucama; four sons, Bobby Bullock and wife Trish of Sims, Butch Bullock and wife Teen of Lucama, Chester Bullock of Lucama, and Billy Bullock of Atlanta; her sister, Rachel Good of Maryland; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Athena.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Leroy Jones Sr., her mother, Dorothy Mae Dilda; and two brothers, Richard and Arnold Dilda.

The family will receive friends from 7 – 9 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway.

Flowers are welcome or memorials in her memory may be directed to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs.C. A. Thompson, 1207 Peachtree St., Wilson, NC 27896.
