JANE B. PEARCE
ZEBULON - Jane Baker Pearce, 70, died at her home on Friday, May 2, 2008. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 6, at Wakefield Central Baptist Church. Burial was in Zebulon Cemetery.

Born in Zebulon, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Claud Baker and Pauline Hagwood Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. E. Pearce Jr., LCDR USN ret. She retired from Peoples Bank and Trust Co. (now RBC Centura).

Surviving: her daughter, Diana Pearce of San Francisco, Calif; brother, Earl D. Baker (Judy) of Durham; sisters, Cleo Collins (Dan) of Tulsa, Okla., and Hilda B. Ward (Ken) of Richmond, Va.; four nieces, two nephews, four great-nieces and a great-nephew.

Flowers welcome or memorial contributions made to Wakefield Central Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 308 Proctor St., Zebulon, NC 27597 will be gratefully accepted.
