FRANCES ANN PERRY
RALEIGH - Frances Ann Perry, 67, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. A memorial service was conducted Sunday, May 11, at Oakwood Cemetery in Louisburg.

Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Leon W. Perry and Elizabeth Crowe Perry and the stepdaughter of Lucille F. Perry. She was a graduate of Henderson High School, Sullins Jr. College, and the University of Georgia, and she obtained a masters degree in international studies from the University of South Carolina. She taught history for many years in Henderson, Hendersonville and in Raleigh.

Surviving: siblings, Margaret P. Quinn, Lee P. Garrett, Mary P. Hunt, Julia P. Marsden, L. W. Perry III; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carolina Ballet, 3401-131 Atlantic Ave., Raleigh, NC 27504.

Arrangements by the Cremation Society of the Carolinas.
