GUY M. GALARDI SR.
MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Guy M. Galardi Sr., 65, died Thursday, May 15, 2008 at his residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at noon today (Wednesday, May 21) at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Myrtle Beach. Interment will follow at Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. prior to the service.

He was born in Revere, Mass., a son of Nella (Vetere) Galardi and her husband, the late Mateo Gilardi. Prior to is move to Myrtle Beach, he worked in the banking industry in Massachusetts. He was an artist, a designer, a poet, a writer and a real estate broker.

A son, Christopher David, predeceased his father.

Surviving, in addition to his mom, are his wife, Dr. Patricia Ann Galardi; a son, Guy M. Galardi Jr. (Margareth) of Raleigh; a daughter, Michelle Adams (Dr. Bryan) of Gainesville, Fla. a brother, Martin J. Galardi (Nancy) of Youngsville; and four grandchildren.

Donations may be made to the St. Andrew Building Fund, the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
