FORT PIERCE, Fla. - Cynthia Marie Jeans, 66, formerly of Franklin County, died Sunday, June 1, 2008 in Florida. A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, June 12, in the chapel of Spring Hope Funeral Home at 7 p.m. by the Rev. Ron Wallace.

Surviving: companion of 23 years, Bernard Sammons; daughters, Lisa Marie Sheaves (Larry) of Zebulon and Pattie Denise Jeans of Louisburg; sisters, Janice Woodlief (Carl Ray) of Wake Forest, Peggy Bradley (Bobby) of Whitakers, Judy Smith (James) of Louisburg, Windy Moss (Allen) of Spring Hope; a brother, Clifford “Jabo” (Carolyn) of White Lake; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willford Atlas Jeans and Bertie Perry Jeans, and a brother, Tom Jeans.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at the funeral home. Also, friends are welcome at the home of Windy and Allen Moss, 30958 Seven Paths Road, Spring Hope.
