DAVID FRANKLIN “DAVE” HUNT
LOUISBURG - David Franklin “Dave” Hunt, 71, died Sunday, June 15, 2008. He was born on July 21, 1936 to the late David Jones and Maggie Moore Hunt.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandchildren, Melissa Puett and Eric Puett; his sister, Mildred Ball; and his brothers, Perry Jones “Jack” Hunt, Roy Durwood “Dude” Hunt and James Thomas “J.T.” Hunt.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Carter Hunt of the home; his daughters, Phyllis Goodheart and husband, Steve of Raleigh, Pamela Puett and husband, Gene of Louisburg; his grandchildren, Corey Wells, Chris Wells, and Tiffany Puett; sisters, Sarah Arnold and husband, T.K., Joan Edwards and husband, Claude, Jean Pleasants and Margaret Boyette, all of Louisburg.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, located at 111 Laurel Mill-Centerville Road, Louisburg, with the Rev. Ernest Mason and the Rev. Don McGinnis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family received friends Tuesday, June 17th, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg.
