GERALDINE S. MOORE
MESQUITE, TEXAS - Geraldine Stallings “Gerry” Moore, 88, formerly of Raleigh, died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at Pilot Baptist Church, 8103 NC 39 Highway South, Zebulon, with the Rev. Kevin Byers officiating. Burial will follow in the Stallings family cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County (Pilot Community) to the late William Millard Stallings and Hattie Williams Stallings. She was an LPN in private duty nursing.

Surviving: daughter, Connie Pierce Draughon of Mesquite, Tex.; sisters, Mildred Campbell of Raleigh and Jackie Stallings of Pilot; brother, Wallace Stallings and wife, Torchie of Pilot; two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Moore.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Pilot Baptist Church, and other times at the home of her sister, Jackie Stallings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the LPN Nurses Association, Inc., P. O. Box 11407, Durham, NC 27703 or to Pilot Baptist Church Building Fund, 8103 NC 39 Highway South, Zebulon, NC 27597.
