LUCILLE G. FISHER
RED OAK - Lucille Griffin Fisher, 88, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 20) in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville, with the Rev. John White, Rev. Luis Rienoso and Rev. Tom Gearhart officiating. Burial will follow at Red Oak Cemetery.

Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late George Duke and Georgeanna Swanson Griffin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis S. Fisher.

Surviving: one son, Stephen “Steve” Fisher (Sandra) of Knightdale; daughters, Judy F. Turner (William) of Red Oak, Brenda F. Mason of Knightdale; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
