JOSEPHINE S. JACKSON
FRANKLINTON - Josephine Shearon Jackson, 92, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008 at Hillside Nursing Center. A memorial service was conducted Friday, Aug. 29, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home.

She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Tempie Wood Shearon and Charlie Pride Shearon. She was a member of Franklinton United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elvis Carlton Jackson.

Surviving: her son, Jerry A. Jackson (Barbara) of Franklinton; sister, Pauline S. Ranes of Franklinton; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Olivet Baptist Church, 1245 Mt. Olivet Church Road, Franklinton, NC 27525.
