PEGGY W. GUPTON
MIDDLESEX - Peggy Ann Williams Gupton, 74, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Sept. 27) at Hephzibah Baptist Church, 1794 Wendell Blvd., Wendell, NC 27591, with the Rev. Aaron Wallace officiating.

She was born in Wake County to the late Homer Thomas Williams and Nola Mae Crumpler Williams. She worked many years as an Avon representative in Wendell.

Surviving: daughter, Debra Cole Overby (Robert) of Raleigh; stepdaughter, Teresa G. Piper (John) of Franklinton; stepson, Gregory Gupton of Middlesex; two grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Louise W. Majure.

The family will receive relatives and friends following the service.
