EARTIE A. CARROLL
HENDERSON - Eartie Anderson Etheridge Carroll, 84, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008 at Maria Parham Health Center. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Blaylock Funeral Home in Warrenton by the Revs. Robert Green and Brent Farrar. Burial followed in the Reedy Creek Baptist Church cemetery.

She was a Halifax County native, born to the late Richard and Sally Anderson. She was a seamstress at Carolina Sportswear.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert “Bud” Etheridge and Hamilton “Gus” Carroll; her brother, Willis Lee Anderson; and her sister, Pattie Anderson.

Surviving: her son, Rickie Etheridge of Henderson; daughter, Diane Edwards of Louisburg; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Flowers accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
