BENJAMIN F. SEAGROVES
FRANKLINTON - Benjamin Franklin “Ben” Seagroves, 70, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008. A graveside service was conducted Friday, Nov. 14, at Wake Forest Town Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Shannon Conklin-Miller.

He was a native of Wake County, the son of the late Junious Dalton Seagroves and Liddie Belle Carpenter Seagroves. He was a farmer and ran his own vegetable stand at the corner of Norwood and Old Creedmoor Road.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Seagroves, and a sister, Liddie Ray.

Surviving: his wife, Shirley Seagroves; sons, Chris B. Seagroves of Wake Forest, Jason Seagroves of Youngsville and Benjamin F. Seagroves Jr. “Junior” of Franklinton; daughter, Janet Seagroves-Bailey of Raleigh; brothers, Bobby Seagroves of Franklinton, Joseph Mack Seagroves of Roseboro, Albert Seagroves of Wake Forest; and eight grandchildren.

Flowers are acceptable. Arrangements by Hudson Funeral Home in Durham.
