CHRISTOPHER LEE HAMLETT
HENDERSON - Christopher Lee Hamlett, 33, formerly of Franklin County, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008 from injuries received in an automobile accident. Funeral services were Friday, Dec. 19, in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson, with the Rev. Frank Sossamon officiating. Burial followed in Meadowview Memorial Park in Oxford.

Born in Alamance County, he was the son of Gloria Daphine Campbell of Townsville and Thomas Dwight Hamlett of Leasburg. He was employed as a chemical operator at Covidien Pharmaceutical Plant in Raleigh.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Kelly H. Powers of New Bern; a brother, Jason Hamlett of Newport News, Va.; paternal grandparents, Robert A. and Nellie B. Hamlett of Leasburg; and his girlfriend, Amanda Long.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Frances Green.
