WAKE FOREST - Betty Harris Robinson died Friday evening, Jan. 16, 2009 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 21) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest, with the Rev. Bill Haley officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris family cemetery.

She was born to the late Mary Norma Morris Harris and Turner Clifton Harris. She lived in her family’s home on Main Street in Youngsville until 1998 when she moved to Wake Forest Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Grey Allen Cavey, and two husbands, Dr. Vernon Green and “Robbie” Robinson.

Surviving: a cousin, Jean Harris Winn and family.
